I have created a flow to export a sharepoint list to an excel table in my OneDrive folder. The column that contains hyperlink is displayed in html code. How do I get around this problem? How can I display this column as text only?

    Hi @bren88

You can add an action to convert Html to plain text and then pass the content with html to that action and use the outputs to pass plain text to excel column.

Thanks for your response, see the following part of my flow to add row to Excel table, it's the contact details column that contains hyperlink, can you show me where to add the extra actions here?

    Hi @bren88

You have to add the html to text action above the add row in a table action and then pass the contact details from dynamic selector to the html convert action and use the out put from that action for the excel column.

Thanks again, I have added the following action above the 'Add row to table' action but where is this output?

Am I missing a step here? When I get to 'contact details' when adding a row I can only see the Sharepoint contact details field in the dynamic selector?

    Hi @bren88

You do not need to use another apply to each. This action can be added to the apply to each loop itself. Here is what you can try:

    1. Add the convert HTML action after the excel action that is in your current flow. Pass the contact details column in that.

    2. Select the excel action and drag it below the convert HTML action now.

    3. In the excel action, on the appropriate column, select the output of the html action from the dynamic selector.

    Hope this Helps!

    Thank you so much!

The details in this column now displays as text but any idea why it repeats the url in square brackets like this:

    https://auspost.com.au/ [https://auspost.com.au/]

Also is there an action I can add to now hyperlink the url in my Excel table?

Thanks again for all your help, much appreciated:)
