Hello,
I have a Microsoft list of various physical music products (CDs & Vinyl) with quantities submitted from multiple international territories. The current PowerApp I have created only allows users to review one product at a time, this isn't ideal. I want to improve it to group products by the same artist, then allow the user to view all products by that grouping to easily compare quantities across multiple formats.
For example, see below, for the album ‘The Beatles – Abbey Road’, there are 5 different formats, 2 CD versions and 3 Vinyl versions. The quantity fields are to the far right.
Current List view
The current PowerApp I have only enables a user to view one product at a time based on product ID, which isn’t an ideal way to review multiple products at once. See below.
Current Power App View
- The first question is, is there a way to group products together that have the same Artist name? E.g. all ‘The Beatles’ products would be grouped and ‘The Rolling Stones’ products would be grouped separately.
- If so… the next question would be is there a way I could click on the group name ‘The Beatles’ and then display a screen filtered only for that grouping to review the 5 products in more detail? This would display all grouped products vertically, rather than horizontally to easily compare the quantities entered for each product format.
Hopefully that makes sense but let me know if not!
