Group email addresses no longer working in my flows

I have some flows set up, among other, to alert the staff to a client birthday.

Previously, I had a group email in the flow - allstaff@blahblah.com. Suddenly that doesn't work anymore.

I tested it a couple of times. With a personal email it works, with a group email it doesn't work.

What changed?

Is there anybody else that experience the same?

@hildasteyn Have you checked if you send an Outlook email to the group email address without using Power Automate, do the group members receive the email? This issue doesn't seem to be related to the flow itself. It's possible that the permissions associated with the group may have changed. Is that an Office 365 group email or a distribution list?

It's a distribution list. I used to work before, but now it doesn't. I checked all my connections, and everything is in order. Tested it again just now. With normal individual email addresses, no issue. With the distribution list email address, the flow runs successfully, but no email is delivered. When I send a normal mail using that distribution list email address, normal delivery takes place.

    Hi @hildasteyn.

what action you are using to send  an email to a DL?

If Outlook emails are successfully sent, but Power Automate notifications are not, it may be necessary to assign someone to monitor the Exchange logs. It's possible that there is a rule in place that is blocking emails from the Power Automate account.

Some days are better than others. I made a change to the last action of the flow, which is the sending of the email. Actually I deleted the old one, and created a new one. I forgot to change the 'from' address, so it was my address in the 'from' field, which means that I didn't get the email that went to the distribution group, even though I am part of the group. The rest of the people got about 10 emails yesterday as I was trying to figure out why it wasn't working as I got nothing.

I changed the 'from' address and the issue is now sorted.

It's okay. You can have a giggle on me today.
