SharePoint Copy and Move File actions take extremely long time to execute.

I am finally about done with a flow I've been working on, but It's taking much longer than I anticipated to execute. My flow is taking 01m14s to execute, when I expected it would take maybe 15 or 20s? Maybe my expectations are too high, but coming from something like python I was shocked how slow it was. The general framework of my flow is to trigger when a form is submitted, then:

  • Create a project folder in a sharepoint
  • move the files generated by the form attachments to the project folder from the temp folder in sharepoint
  • copy a document template to the project folder
  • update an excel file
  • update a sharepoint list
  • create a task
  • send an email

All of these take at most a second or two, EXCEPT for the SharePoint actions "copy document to folder" and "move file".

These each take around 12s/file. This seems extremely long, and I can't imagine is normal, but I did find a thread from awhile back where someone mentioned this isn't unusual.

My question is, is there a fix? Why does it take so long? Would it be faster if I was using a personal form, and the attachments were being routed through my OneDrive, rather than the SharePoint? Thanks for any help.
