Workflow Sends two Emails

Hi all,
I am having a problem with a very simply workflow. It simply activates when a new item is added to a PowerAutomate list, grabs details from the new line item, sends an email to the recipient and then deletes the item. My problem is that it sends two emails instead of one.

My workflow looks like this:

My triggers look like this (I activated them two separate times ~15 minutes apart):

As you can see, my workflow does not send emails in a loop and my trigger is not being invoked more than one time per list item added. So how am I receiving two identical emails?

The screenshot of your flow doesn't appear to have uploaded.

Can you try to see what happens if you make a new flow and rerun using that new flow with the same settings?

It is possible the flow is cached.

Can you try deleting and recreating it as it could just be a cached flow?

Can you check to see maybe if it is a cache?

Hi all, thank you for trying to help. I disabled the old workflow and created a new, even simpler workflow that looks like this:

Unfortunately I still receive two linked emails:

This is most likely not Power Automate sending the email twice.
In this setup, the flow is using the connection owner’s credentials to send the message, while the From / Send as field is set to another mailbox, such as pecs@se.com.

The important clue is in the Outlook screenshot: one of the messages appears to be associated with Sent Items. That usually means Outlook is showing both:
    1. the email that was delivered to the recipient, and
    2. the sent-copy created because the flow sent the email using the connection account / Send As mailbox.

Because Outlook groups messages by conversation, these can appear next to each other and look like duplicate received emails, even though the flow only performed the send action once.

    To confirm:
    1. Turn off Show as Conversations in Outlook.
    2. Check the actual folder of each message: one should be in Inbox, the other in Sent Items.

If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Have a great day! 😊
