I am asked to do the following.

1-Export BI Dataset to excel and create/save in SharePoint (using Power Automate)

2-Autorefresh this dataset via Power Automate everyday

3-Create Powerpoint slides using the excel data in Sharepoint (as the data updated ppt will also updates as usual)

For Power BI excel export, I use "analyze in excel" but I cannot auto refresh this data using Power Automate.

Please help

    Sorry to hear that. I hope you can convince them to agree to a more efficient process.

    @lbendlin
    Thanks for the reply. Well, actually I use both "Analyze in Excel" and Export to PPT" feature myself but what I asked help here bcoz of a specific request which I will not do that way myself. Boss wants everyone reach ppt and associated data, and ppt will be designed by different teams as they wish via the excel in Sharepoint.
    So to answer you question:
    Need to export to excel, and I only find manual trigger for this in Power Automate, Haven't tried office script. If I use analyze in excel and export/save in Sharepoint, I need to refresh manually. Basically, I am trying to do exactly what the request wants

    Thx

    Export to Excel and Analyze in Excel are different things. Please specify which one you want to use. There is no real need to refresh the "Analyze in Excel"  data as it is connected to the dataset live.

    You can initiate Excel data source refreshes vis office scripts

    Have you considered creating the PowerPoint slides from the Power BI report export rather than from Excel ?
