We weren't able to add this connection - null is not an object

Hi

A user is getting the following error when opening a Canvas Power App.

We weren't able to add this connection. Please try again.

null is not an object (evaluating 'this._items[e]=t')

Things to know about the app and issue

  • The Canvas App calls a Power Automate Flow which connects to SharePoint - the SharePoint connection is in the Flow, there is no direct connection between the Power App and SharePoint
  • The Canvas App is shared with the user and they have access to SharePoint.
  • The user gets the error on their phone but not when they access through the web browser.
  • The user has cleared the Power App phone app's cache

Anyone have any ideas on how to proceed from here?

    Hi @HSheild ,

Do you mean that issue occurs in Mobile device rather than Web Browser?

Does the issue occur when the end user click in the "Sign in" button to create connection to SharePoint List?

I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. Please check if the version of the end user's PowerApps Mobile App is the latest one, if not, please ask him to upgrade it to the latest version. On my side, the version of PowerApps Mobile App is 3.20052.16 on my side iOS Mobile device (version 13.4.1, also upgrade the version of this Mobile device the latest version).

Also please check if end user has blocked the SharePoint service from his Mobile device. Please consider uninstall PowerApps Mobile App from his Mobile device, then re-install it again, then try the Shared canvas app, check if the issue is solved.

Also please provide the Session Id Info of the end user's canvas app, then we could track where the issue is.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-xida-msft ,

Thanks for the response. Reinstalling the Power Apps iPhone app fixed the issue .
