Can't access new designer anymore

I have been editing a flow (some shown below) on the the new designer for the last few weeks, and today when logging in, the flow was shown in the old designer and the 'new designer' button is greyed out. There is no functionality within the flow which is not available on the new designer (as I saw reference on another support post) as I have been editing it in the new designer for some time now. Any help would be appreciated as I much prefer using the new designer.

I think they are still rolling out updates to the new designer, in my case sometimes flows will open in the new designer and other times in the classic version. There is flows that show the same warning as you saying that the new designer cannot be used yet. You can try doing a save as, creating a copy of the flow and see what happens, the way I see it we just need to live with these 2 designers until the new one is totally rolled out.

Thank you for your suggestion. Creating a copy hasn't solved the problem, it's still saying there are too many actions. Maybe the new editor is very limited in the number of actions it can support?
