Newby needs help with ETag

Hi there,

I'm very new with Power Automate but I'm trying to create a workflow for the very first time in Sharepoint (a Document Library).

I think there's required to set an ETag, however, I'm unable to find it in the dynamic content 😞

Any idea why?

Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Hey @VanessRu ,

sadly I'm not able to understand spanish(?) 😅

I understood that you want to automate an approval chain.

What does the "manuell" trigger exactly do?
Please open it by clicking and send screenshot.

It might be that you are missing one, maybe tow steps, to get ETag.

@VanessRu you need to provide Etag value from dynamic content, if you cant see Etag in dynamic content, then you need to use Get File Metadata which will give you Etag value of the file. Get file metadata provides the ETag property (along with many others) required when dealing with content approvals.

Thanks @annajhaveri I tried to use "Get File Metadata" however, it gives me error because it seems it can't find the dynamic content I selected (it doesn't matter which one I select, all of them give an error)

    How should I use it?

    Thanks a lot!
