i have compiled a flow which is doing 90% of what i need but i cannot get the final text (formatted via CSS into a table) to stop including lots of html tags.

how do i get the text in the detail column to format as plain text?
Convert the field in your SharePoint list from RTF to plain text.
Create a separate flow that triggers when an item is created and modified.
Then create a new plain text field in your list to store the HTML in plain text.
In the flow use the HTML to Text action for the conversion.
Then update the plain text field with the converted text.
Use the plain text field in your select action.
