Are we able to set a Pre-text in Text Field

Hi,

I have created a Sharepoint List form, which contain a title, and I like this title to have certain naming convention whenever the submitter submit a NEW form for approval, the pre-text should start with "For Sales Approval/"  and submitter will then key in the rest of the text such as <Country><Project Title> then.

Is it possible? Looking forward to all the expertise advise. Thanks, Val

    Hi @Frozensparrow,

I think you should do something customization in custom form from Power Apps.

Set the Update property of the Title data card as below:

    "For Sales Approval/"&DataCardValue.Text

    Dear Qi,

Thanks, not sure where the updated property, happen to explore the list setting, and it works by going to List Setting -> Edit my [Title], and putting my value under Default Value.

Just that I realize if I click OK alone, it doesn't seem doesnt update instead. Have go click the power app , and close to let it reflect the value in the textbox.

Not sure if that a bug or network issue.

    HI @Frozensparrow,

That won't update the Title with pre-text combining with <Country><Project Title>, that's a default text before you enter.

To set the Update property of the Title data card, please check as follows:

1). Click the red narrowed custom form

    2). Unlock the data card:

3). Set the Update property as below:

    If(SharePointForm1.Mode=FormMode.New,"For Sales Approval/"&DataCardValue1.Text,DataCardValue1.Text)

4).Publish when you want to be back to your SP list.

    5).Here is the testing result:
