Hi Everyone,
I am new to Power Automate, i created an Sharepoint list when i try to create an item using flow( Create Item) i observed some of the columns are not reflecting in the flow. I an not using any views, columns are not hidden, no column limit, verified few settings, deleted & recreated the flow  but still some of the columns are not visible in between.

Issue Logged by, Assigned to columns are not visible but the neighbor columns Date Reported, Expected completion date are visible.

    Hi @ssalmans5323 ,

    Could you check if your action is using a specific view please ?

    Based on your screen shot, Issue Logged by and Assigned To are shown in the action. They are followed by the word Claims, which is normal for people fields.

    Hi @David_MA ,
    Yes i figured out that but what i can see is only few random members are present in the drop down what is the reason behind it? How can i assign it to a specific member based on their email id?

    Just scroll to the bottom and choose enter custom value and type in the e-mail address of the person.

    As for the reason behind this, that's something you'll have to ask Microsoft 🙂

    Hi @David_MA

    I entered the email address by choosing custom values for both the columns but Issue Logged by column is not updated in the SharePoint list showing blank.

    Hi @ssalmans5323 ,

    Can you try instead of the email directly this formatting : i:0#. f|membership|email@domain.com

    Hi @Tristan_D
    It worked for me, but what is the difference in these two syntaxes? directly mentioning the email, using the syntax(i:0#. f|membership|email@domain.com)

    Cool !

    The syntax I passed you is used to fill in the claims field, using a simple mail is not working for a people picker field.
    The Claims is a record containing the following info :

    {

    Claims: "i:0#.f|membership| inc Email",

    Department: "",

    DisplayName: "username",

    Email: "Email",

    JobTitle: "",

    Picture: ""

    }

    The same goes when in PowerApps you need to patch such a field, you will have to use "i:0#. f|membership|" before the mail 😉.
