Creating a power automate with powerapp

Hi Everyone,

Creating a power automate where the trigger is Pressing a button in PowerApps. I'm using SharePoint as my database.

Upon clicking on one of the requests on my power app (distinct ID), i want to press a button to automatically send an email.

Tried using it but office 365 won't allow me to connect but Send an Email notification (V3) works so that's what I'm using right now. It seems that "Get Items" literally getting all the items on my SharePoint, any advice what should i use instead of "Get Items" to filter this particular ID only sending the email not everything.

Hi @SecretAdmirer09 ,

Assuming you do not want to send the mail directly from Power Apps using the Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2 function, you can use "Get item" in Power Automate and send the ID of the target record.

Hi,

Let me try explaining it more clearly.

Per se i have 30 Request (with different IDs)

Upon clicking to one of the request, (For example ID 12345), there is a "Send an Email" button. Upon clicking it, it would automatically send the drafted email to the specific requester (For example: Person 1) of ID 12345 by using power automate. So if i would to click another request (e.g. 12343), if i click the button, it would send the drafted email to it's specific requester (Person 2)

Now my power automation, the trigger should be (upon clicking a button in PowerApps- which i can't figure out how), then to filter my database which is SharePoint, I'm trying to use "Get Items" but as per trying, it's checking and trying to send every single request I have on my database and not the specific request I selected on my PowerApps (Tried using "Get Item" but since I have no technical background and just learning to use this, don't know what ID should be).

I am a little unsure how to explain this better, but you know the ID (you have posted some examples) and your flow would look something like this (disregard the To - I have used Created by as an example)

This is nothing to do with Power Apps - it usually indicates that the mailbox you are trying to send the email with is located on an on-premise Exchange server. You need to talk to your network Admin.
