Number formatting in Excel sheet

Hi,

I am unable to see the Number Formatting or "Manually trigger a flow" option in the Desktop app. Could someone guide how to format it?

I need to do a couple of things and would appreciate any leads -

1.) Some of the numbers in my Excel sheet are in "General Format" while some are in "Numbers" format. I extracted data from the webpage and want to find a way to extract data in same format (General).

2.) I want to bold text in first column and center it too. Though its easy and doable using excel, I would find my automation effective if that can be done with Power Automate directly.

Hi @Amishi

1. As per my understanding, the general format is as number with no special formatting at all, So one question when you are reading data from excel what format value data u are getting ?

2. Are you talking how to do formatting in excel online or excel desktop application ?

Thank you for your response. Here is some more explanation, however, I resolved the issue with another approach.

1.) Its a downloadable excel file on web browser which when I extract using Power Automate is in 2 forms. The first are general numbers so easy (example, 0.12345 as 0,12345) but the other seem complicated. For example, 0.57846 was being reflected as 57846.
2.) I am asking how to do formatting in Excel using Power Automate Desktop.

Hi @Amishi

May be you have to change the format of column in excel before enterung details so that it remains in the same format as is. Using text format would be good option .

For second question, use run VBScript to do add bold in text and center it 🙂
