Restricting app use until dropdowns populated

I have a number of dropdowns where Items and Default are populated via SharePoint lookups. 

 

Sometimes these lookup take a while to run, leaving the dropdowns blank for a short while.

 

Is there a way to prevent the user from interacting with the app until these dropdowns have populated?

    Add a gif Loader on your OnStart Where you load all your dropdowns. You can set time for how long that loader runs by using hidden timer control.

    Wouldn't the spinner stop once OnStart is complete, rather than when Items and Default are complete for the dropdowns?

    Hence the hidden timer control. Count approx time it takes to load all controls. And set time in timer control according. Loader will run according to timer not according to OnStart
