Our Organization has M365 License, Using that I am able to create and access Dataverse. But as per the documentation it says Dataverse is cannot be utlized with M365/office 365 License. Need More Clarity on this.

How can I find whether Dataverse is Covered as part of My license or not? I did check in My Profile>Subscriptions> License> No where it is mentioned

@Allabasha Dataverse is a Premium Connector. This means that you need one or more of the following additional licenses for your users to access Dataverse in your Apps.

    1. Per App License - Run one app or portal per user.

    2. Per User License - Run unlimited apps and portals per user for one flat monthly rate.

    3. Pay-as-you-go plan - Use an Azure subscription to pay per user based on the number of unique apps or portals a user runs each month.

I have the License and I am able to access the dataverse tables and add the tables to the canvas Screens. Not sure how it is working here in my case.

Dataverse capabilities with Microsoft 365 licenses

As Dataverse continues to grow, more Microsoft applications like Microsoft Project are using Dataverse. To enable these Microsoft applications, limited Dataverse functionality is added to select Microsoft 365 licenses. This is achieved by adding a new service plan named "Dataverse" to the Microsoft 365 licenses. To see the new service plan in the Microsoft 365 admin center, select a user, select the Licenses and Apps tab, and then scroll down and expand the Apps section.

    Capabilities included

Dataverse functionality required by other Microsoft 365 applications appears as the "Dataverse" service plan in the Apps section of the Microsoft 365 admin center.

This new service plan allows select Microsoft 365 applications to take advantage of Dataverse as a platform for storing application data and use the underlying business logic tier as part of extending application capabilities. This extension also helps these applications to use Dataverse instances within the default environment. However, if you need to create a Dataverse instance within production or sandbo...

These limited capabilities of Dataverse are only available through select Microsoft 365 licenses and can't be used to run any custom Power Apps applications or Power Automate flows, or run any Power Virtual Agent bots, or use any other data that doesn't belong to the Microsoft 365 applications that take advantage of these capabilities.

Yeah I have already read the document which you have shared and any how I have few other questions on the same.

In this Scenario.. My End user has O365 License and the requirement is to utilize the Existing license to build a Canvas APP, In this case how to Proceed further as we can't Utilize the Data verse

My idea is to go with Standard Connecters : Share Point or OneDrive to use as a database. If this is a good to go solution is it secure to store the data? Any Inputs here sir and what could be other best ways to build the Canvas APP using existing O365 license without going to Premium License, Per upp/Per User.

Well! it all depends on what you are trying to do. Yes, you can use SharePoint without the additional licenses as it is not a Premium License. SharePoint is good enough in most cases but Dataverse is a Data platform that comes with tons of features. It would be good to read through the docs to understand the difference and also do a proof of concept App before you make your final choice.
