Copy Sharepoint Files

When you copy a sharepoint file, does the item id of the original file get copied as well?  Do the two files have the same item id?

    Hi @wildchang ,

    Copying a file to a new folder in SharePoint essentially creates a new item under the new folder with the contents of the original file so their item ids are different.
