Hello. (2nd time writing this, the first time I wasn't signed in and when I realized it I signed in and then got everything blown away. Excellent!! Just saying.)

Anyway I have a flow that currently copies a doc/photo name to Title the sends an email. Works great.

Now I want to allow the users to choose from a lookup field in the library which is a link to the related Asset list.

I've included images of the flow and the final image shows the items in the lookup field in the "Get Properties" section. Very cool, but how do I get the user to choose one??? I have user input for file and file name inputs in another flow but that input section doesn't include lookups. (Wouldn't that be useful??)

Hi @CW,

Update a lookup field is using ID store in the original list, for more information, you could refer to this post:

Thanks for the response Lin Tu but it seems like too much gobbledygook and not what I’m looking for. I already have a lookup and I won’t be adding static input values and wont be adding to the lookup column, the lookup column is to be used as the third input:

Choose a photo,
Enter a file name, as shown below
But what I also need is another input which is pulling the value of an item (Asset in an asset list list) lookup field and provide that chosen Asset from the lookup into the newly uploaded image’s Asset field in the metadata. See below.
However, I do see that provided to me in Power Automate in a similar flow uploading documents that also has this Asset lookup as shown below

Finally the image below is how a similar flow looks but I've added the lookup that I want.
Make sense? So I imagine something like this needs to be inserted between the two simple tasks in #1 above? BUT the inputs choices don’t include lookup (surprise, why would Microsoft make anything easy and intuitive?). They only provide for dates, text, choices , nothing actually functional and useful in normal everyday life.

So I just received an email "Did you get the answer you needed?"

Obviously another question swept under the rug and the email sent out just to entice people into accepting a non-answer and then they can get their "Solved" numbers up to quota.

NO I DIDNT GET THE ANSWER I NEEDED, NOT EVEN CLOSE AND I'M NOT EVEN SURPRISED.
