Power Automate Gateway / Monitoring

Hi,
I've had a gateway running smoothly on my production (Prod) GW server for over a year. However, last week, it failed with the error: "Gateway is configured correctly but is unreachable due to local network connectivity."

To temporarily resolve this, I read that I needed to remove all rights from the Production Gateway settings. I logged into the Development (Dev) GW server using the Production Gateway account, which removed the rights from the problematic production gateway. After that, I logged back into the production gateway with the production account, and the Prod GW was back online, as reported by the PA portal. (as suggested here : https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Service/Gateway-is-configured-correctly-but-is-unreachable-due-to-local/m-p/607521

However, whenever I update the Dev Gateway server settings, the Prod GW goes offline again.

I'm unsure what's causing this issue.
1. Does anyone know what might be happening? Is this a bug? Should I delete the Gateway client in Prod and recreate it?
2. How can I monitor the gateway? I was unaware of the gateway failure until users complained.
Is there a way to set up an alert in Power Automate that constantly checks the Gateway status and sends me an email if it goes offline?

yes it is possible using power automate and these.

You can validate all data sources, and their status as well.

    Thanks for this.
How can I create flow which checks that gateway connection and email me if the gateway connection is down?
Ideally i would like to include an error in the flow, when the connection fails, send me an email?

Your question was how, I answered that. If you have a flow partially written or attempted please mark the answer as the answer to the question. Once you start building, please open another question for help, but please give it a try first, by first writing down exactly what you want it to do from a business logic perspective. We are not here to specifically write peoples stuff, there are plenty of examples of flows to at least give it a shot first.

    In general, though

    1. Create a Schedules flow. Set it to run as often as you would like.
    2. Use the HTTP Connector to call the end point
I already shared the document so it should be easy to implement

You can even test it from that link to validate it gives you what you want.

    3. when you get the response, Get Response details, and check that its what you want (success)

    4. add a condition to validate the Response is the value you expect 200
    5. add email action to email whomever if it appears non-healthy.

Can you provide some more details?  How many cluster members for each gateway?  Which versions are running on them?  Was there any recent network change?

Keep in mind there is a distinction between the Enterprise Gateway install on a VM and the gateway definition in the Azure service.
