Hello,

i made a flow that saves an email attachment to a sharepoint folder. It uses the name of the attachment itself and i put a prefix name before it.

Only now i want to create a new flow that saves the attachment to sharepoint and rename it. also the prefix name as well as part of the email subject name. is tis possible?

for example....

email subject: order confirmation R123

attachment: test.pdf

the pdf file is saved to sharepoint with name: R123.pdf. So text from the subject name "order confirmation" should not be in the filename.

anyone who can help?

kind regards Ramon

    So it sounds like the only change for your new Flow is how you name the file.  If that is the case, can you provide some details on the new name?  Can you explain the rules?  Will this Flow only be run when "Order Conformation" is in the subject?  Does anything other than the file name that you want appear after "Order Confirmation"?

    correct only change name of the file for my new flow.

    the rule is when an email arrive from example@example.com,  with an attachment in it, with "order conformition"in the subject. then the attachment should be saved in a sharepointfolder with the name of the subject after "order confirmation".

    We have different suppliers that uses different attchement name and subject name for the order confirmations.

    I read about power BI, and document automation, but it's not for free. and i even don't know how that works.

    So this is an simple workarround maybe that gets part of the job done.

    See my example below and let me know if you have any questions.  Note that I could have used fewer Compose actions but thought that it is easier to understand this way.

    @Ramon538

    Before the Create File action, use a technique similar to the one I show to create the file name.  Then, reference the Compose action for the file name in the create file action.
