Dear Expert User,

May I seek advice as flow below,

1. Read a specific column cell (Z1) in SAP

2. Look up existing excel specific columns (X1)

3. If the Z1 is the same as X1 take the column from the same Excel file at the other column X2

4. Copy X2 to same SAP Z2.

5. Go to the next row in SAP till the end.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Angela93yan

I can provide an overview on how should you try this :

    See below

I assume the data you are extracting from SAP is a table and you are iterating each row of that table, from that you are looking up specific cell/column in table with data in excel to check if value exists or not and update other record accordingly.

Here for demo purposes i am using a sample excel file for reading data for excel file. Now in 3rd step as you see i am using extract table from window action to extract data in form of table from a window, in our case it should be SAP screen where the table is present. Now after extracting it, loop through the extracted datatable using for each loop as you see in 4th step.

Now in the loop , you can see i am using find /replaces values in datatable, This helps us to find a value present in datatable and return its row and column indexes in datatable format like below

    Nived_Nambiar_2-1699180339143.png

Here find or replace in datatable checks the value from each iteration under Z1 column and checks whether the same value exists in X1 column as well and returns it matches in format of above datatable like.

Now once you got the value, use set variable to get the value from the excel data corresponding to X2 column

Now use populate action to populate text values in the field using z2 value obtained from datatable matches.

Hope it helps in designing your flow

Hi @Nived_Nambiar , Table using for lookup is not extract from SAP. Is an external file which look up to SAP.

    1. Read a specific column cell (Z1) in SAP

    2. Look up from excel file (NOT FROM SAP) specific columns (X1)

    3. If the Z1 is the same as X1 take the column from the same Excel file at the other column X2

    4. Copy X2 to same SAP Z2.

    5. Go to the next row in SAP till the end.

    Hi @Angela93yan

I have explained the design in simmilar way.

File for lookup should be excel file, in my flow, flow is reading excel data at the beggining as you see in the flow screenshot.

As i told, the data you are trying to read from SAP Should be a table as you are reading cell by cell.

Let me know if you have any doubts 🙂

    Hi @Nived_Nambiar ,

The flow didn't gather my requirements.

    Basically,

Read from SAP "item column 2" at each specific row > more than thousand line.

Go to excel lookup column B2 if have similar value paste value to SAP same row item but is column 6.

Keep repeating till complete 1,000 line item.

    Thanks.
