OneDrive (not business) file id suddenly not recognized by Power Automate cloud flow

I have a flow, that have been working flawless for round 4 years.

When file on OneDrive is created -> Get file content -> Create fil on FTP

As from 26th Juli the flow stopped working - giving error 400 "bad request" - the file id is not valid.

It seem like on this date OneDrive changed the length on the file id - which Power Automate apparently does not validate.

Can I expect MS automaticly will fix the issue - or will I have to find another workaround on my issue - any good ideas.

    Hi

Without actually seeing your flow run, its too hard to just take people at their word for things never changing etc, so you should always assume to share
    as much as you can.

As for what Microsoft will do, there isn't any evidence its their fault versus yours atm, and no they don't tell us their internal plans... such meanies right!!

Please share the pictures of onedrive, with the file Id and validate that in the flow.

Thanks you message - however I gave up on OneDrive and is now using Google Drive instead.

@mrpilot, I am facing the exact same error in one of my running flow since begin of March 2025, which is running perfect since many months.

My particular flow is triggered by "when a file is created" with the OneDrive Personal connector, getting the particular file id in the trigger output. Later in this flow I am using the action "Add File Tag" with the file id from the trigger output as input parameter for this action. Here I am getting the error 400 "The file id is not valid".

This doesnt make sense, because the file id is not changing meanwhile.

    BR,
    André
