I am trying to create a dropdown list but instead of getting the names of people in my person field in the SharePoint list, I keep getting this long {"@odata.type...(please see image).
My SharePoint list has 2 person fields with their profile photos showing. Please what am I doing wrong?
Hi @Natido ,
You can use Combo box instead, with its Items property setting to
Choices(ListName.ColumnName)
and set primary text to Display Name
Best regards,
Thanks @v-jefferni sadly, it is still not working as it should. In reference to your image, I do not have this option, it could be because I am developing my app in PowerApps for Teams. It shouldn't be so complicated 😥
Could you please share some screenshots of the Control, on the properties pane? Is there an edit fields option? Have you added DisplayName field?
Here is what it looks like:
The first record on the field is what is showing as the field name. The data type is Person in my sharepoint list.
As I mentioned previously, you need to use Choices(ListName.DC) as Items of the Control. It seems you are using the entire list as items, and add a field for the DC Person column.
