Error: An unknown error occurred

Beginning today our users report that the PowerApp is giving an "Error: An unknown error occurred" when attempting to input data. I checked on PowerApps editor and the I am getting an error: The requested operation is invalid. Server response: Invalid value '20' for field 'Vacancy', expected a string.

The app was working fine before and there have been no changes made when the errors started so I'm not sure what is causing this. The app is writing to an Excel file shared on OneDrive. One thing I did notice is that the the app is not displaying any entries past May 18 despite there being records past that date in Excel.

Hi @uwpark,

Is this issue only happening to this specific app? What if you create a new app with the same connection?

Besides, have you changed the permission setting from OneDrive during the time?

Thanks, I tested a new app on the data source and it works. Upon further investigation it seems that for some reason the column for one of our fields was changed in Excel from Number to General. That may have been the cause of the expected string error as the issue seems to have resolved itself.
