Link back to original mail, a created item from a mail: To open the original e-mail from list into Outlook

Hi,

Microsoft list is importing my email when they arrived in my mailbox and create a new item.

I'd like to know if there is a way to set a colomn in list that link back to the original mail used to import, so i can use Outlook to answer directly with this mail to gather more info, or give more info.

Any idea how to do this? (as an hyperlink would be nice).

Thanks.

    Hi @mrik00,

You could concatenate the message Id value with a link to Office 365.

Below is an example of that approach.

    Superbe! Thanks!
Would there be a way to open in the message in the outlook APP if I wanted to?  instead of the Browser?

    Hi @mrik00,

You could look into creating a second (desktop) flow and trigger that from your cloud flow. From a desktop flow you could start/run/open client applications on a desktop.

However, this probably will make your setup a lot more complicated. If this needs to be done unattended that would require for example additional licencing and the installation of a data gateway.
