Novice user - Rename PDF file based off text extracted using AI builder Model

Hi,

I only started using power automate desktop yesterday and have fallen down the rabbit hole of the many different ways i can use it.

i have manage to successful set up a flow to read multiple files names and move the files to folders based on the filename.

ie ABC123_invoice.pdf was moved to the folder ABC123

Im looking at doing the next step which to use the Ai builder model, to automatically rename the file based off the information extracted from it. Then move to the folder based of the name.

I have created an AI builder model custom form which gets 3 fields off the form. This works successful on the auto made test flow which sent me an email with the 3 fields on information.

i would like to rename the file "[Field1]_typeofdocument.pdf"

the typeofdocument bit would be static and the same for every file

The field when extracted also has a spaces in the text i would like to remove, if its possible. extract is "ABC 123" change to "ABC123"

the ideal solution is

Employee scans document to \\server\scansfolder

The flow would automatically detect  the new file made and rename then move it to the correct location on our server.

Below is a screenshot of what i think may be right so far, but im stuck on the renaming part.

    Hey @QQRhino

You can use replace to remove the space from the field. You can use replace(Field1,' ','').
