New list forms experience

I have a list set up and have used the new list form experience to set up a couple of different forms suitable for different users.

I wanted to use power automate to classify the list item for me but cannot get it to work.

As a working example lets say within my list I have a choice field with options a,b,c and I have 3 forms set up under the new list form experience. When form a is submitted I want the list field to be populated with choice a, when form b is submitted I want the list field to be populated as b, etc.

The list forms do not appear in the 'When a response is submitted' trigger so not sure if this is possible.

Alternatively is there a way to set that fields default on a per form basis?

    Interesting query.

So, I have checked the When a new item is created trigger action of the SharePoint connector. I don't see any context from which list form it is coming from. It looks like at the moment that is not possible to retrieve.

Similar for the default values per form basis. You can only set the default value of a field.

Both might be good ideas for the product team. I think I already saw a couple of ideas for formulas which you might also be able to upvote as well:

@Expiscornovus thank you for the reply.

Hopefully something that gets added at some point.
