Export To File for Power BI Report - Error 404 "FeatureNotAvailableError"

I get error 404 "FeatureNotAvailableError" on using Export To File for Power BI Report

The Power BI report is in a Premium workspace set up through the Power BI Premium Per User trial. I tried exporting as PDF or PPTX but both fail with the same error.

The error message is not super helpful to work out what part of the step is actually not available.

    Hello @Indy96

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, for this type of issues maybe the first step will be to confirm if the Workspace and report still exists, if so, do you have access to manipulate them with the same user that you are creating this flow?

If the answer it's yes, then my recommendation will be to open a support request as additional information and traces will be required, specially since the error message is nor explaining much of the underlining issue to suggest additional ideas.

I hope this at least can point you in the right direction.

    Thanks.

Yes the workspace and report still exist (I'm the owner and have converted them into a Premium/dedicated space).

I am currently already working with support to figure out what is actually happening under the hood.

    Hello,

I get the same error. I also you a Premium Per User trial to export a Power BI report to PDF or PPTX. Have you found a solution?

No solution - I got confirmation from Microsoft that the 'export to pdf' functionality is NOT part of the Premium-Per-User trial and that it is only a Premium feature. I personally think that does not make sense though.

I have submitted an 'idea' for this here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=09c1b59c-a73a-eb11-8fed-281878a5ca29

Hi - does this also apply to the 'export to PPTX' feature?

Is it that the entire 'Export to File for Power BI Report' feature in Power Automate is only available with the Power BI Premium capacity, not on the Premium per User version?

Please, it is important to do this function. This is the only reason we have upgraded to the "premium per user" license, only to find that this feature is not included. You will be canceling the subscription until it is effective.
    Thank you

Ran into the same issue today. PPU licence, premium workspace. Is this possible with PPU? It's the only reason we purchased the licence.

Hi @Indy96 How did you contact Microsoft to get confirmation of this? I have some questions regarding the Premium-Per-User features and would love to speak to someone at Microsoft.

    Kind regards,

    Lizi

I'm in the same boat.  There's nothing to suggest that Premium Per User would have different Power Automate features than Premium (except, of course, which users are able to access the data).

Has anyone been able to confirm that this feature is note available for Premium Per User?

Exactly this: Has anyone been able to confirm that this feature is note available for Premium Per User?
