Move File Action Bug

Hi,

I don't know if anyone has experienced the same issue, but I've had multiple instances where the "Move file" action moves the file but fails the action and stops the flow entirely.

Is there a reason to this, or a way to prevent it from happening again?

Thank you 🙂

    Hi @fiqqquuuuu ,

If two SharePoint libraries do not have identical data structures, using 'Move file' will result in an error. You can use "Get file content"+"Create a new file" instead.

    Best Regards,

    Bof

Hi, Thanks for your response, but the flow is actually only moving files within the same Library.

The file actually moved, but weird thing is, the action fails.

    Hi @fiqqquuuuu ,

I'm not sure what caused this problem, but you could try Get file content ->Delete file ->Create file with file content  instead.

    Best Regards,

I want to actually keep the properties when moving the file, I think doing it this way will remove all the previous properties.

I just find it very odd that most (98%) of the time, it works as intended, just some special cases where it fails.
