Get file from a Shared drive to SharePoint each time a new file is created in the shared drive (K-Drive)

Hi All,

I am trying to create a flow to move file from a shared drive (K-drive) to a SharePoint folder each time a file is created in the shared drive. I have researched online and followed lots of youtube samples videos, to no avail as my flow keeps failing. It's becoming frustrating.

Please can anyone state a step to step guide on how to create a flow to get file from a shared folder to a SharePoint folder?

Steps I have taken:

=============

- Prior to creating the flow, I downloaded and installed an On-prem gateway which is successfully connected online.

- I created a connector using credentials I used in logging into my organization's tenant using "windows" authentication type. I hope this is ok? or do I have to use the credentials I used in creating the on-prem gateway?

- I copied my file paths correctly from the k-drive but the "Get File Content " action seems not be able to access it hence the error message below:

With this error message, my flow keeps failing.

Not sure what to do, can someone please help?

Thanks in Advance!

    The login credentials will be for your local computer where the On-Prem gateway was installed.

    Thanks for your detailed message on how to fix this. The methods you outlined are excatly how I set up the "get file content" the only thing new I tried is re-booting my system before running the flow again but its still failed.

    See snip below:

    Hi @Sunnyb746

    @ekarim2020  pointed you out in the right direction. Then you messaged me privately for the help, hence I looked the issue via screenshare. The issue was Get File Content was pointing to the wrong connection (may be looking a different shared path) hence you getting file not found error. Once pointed the right connection same as the trigger all working fine. Also extended the flow to check the file name starts with certain name then move to a specific folder.

    @ekarim2020  Thanks for the great work too.

    Thanks
