Actually what I want to know is
I have a sharepoint with 10 files a,b, ...., j
If I say copilot to get a from sharepoint it returns <sharepointurl>/a.extension
what I want is in the chat itself the original file instead of <sharepointurl>/a.extension like an attachment in email we can download. So that it removes going to sharepoint
I'm not sure what you mean by getting files instead of links, but maybe try to sync files between SharePoint on-prem and the copilot. Here is how to do this with SPO: How to automatically upload files to Generative Answers with Power Automate from SharePoint (youtube.com)
In you case, you would probably have to use the on-prem data gateway.
No we don't, and it's not likely that we will. You can build a custom solution that will index your on-prem data source, and expose an endpoint for Copilot Studio to access, but I'm not sure that will yield a good return on investment.
