Powerapp/PowerAutomate Approval Flow

Hey all, I can't seem to figure this out, I was able to build a power automate flow from my MS Forms with no issues but now that I have built an app in power apps I want to do the same thing. Currently I have the app working where at the end after all fields are filled out, the user inputs an email as to where they want it to go, and it pulls all of the information from the app into the email and sends it off. What I want it to do now is when the email is sent it starts an approval process, that will make the receiver of the email either approve or deny that request. When I look online all it talks about is having a share point list and things like that, however this app doesn't pull any information from a data source such as a share point list. The requestor inputs data into the fields, then submits it and the app sends it out via outlook.

You need to store the submitted information in some kind of data source so that it will persist while the approval process is going on. that data source is commonly SharePoint, but you can use pretty much any data source. When the person submits there input in the Power app, where does it get stored? Is it only copied to the email?

@Pstork1 so the information doesn't get stored anywhere yet, it would be nice to eventually have the form saved in a location for future look up, but it's an IT Request form for onboarding new employees, currently not being used because i'm still working on it, but no its not stored anywhere the information is input on the app and then copied over into an email that gets sent to the helpdesk to be processed.

Approvals run on the basis of data that is stored somewhere being approved. If the data isn't saved somewhere then there is nothing to approve. That's why you aren't finding any examples like yours. Have the form save the data somewhere and then use that for the approval.

@Pstork1 do you have a link to something that would show me how to do that, im pretty new to all of this, got my app to work and send via email but not sure how to get it to send the email and save a copy of the information to sharepoint.
