Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing a strange issue with a SharePoint-integrated Power Automate flow.
We have an Instant Cloud Flow triggered by "For a selected file" in a SharePoint document library. The flow has been working for several months, but recently all users (except the flow owner) started receiving the following message before the flow even starts:
"A Premium Power Automate license is required to run this flow."
To isolate the issue, I created a brand-new flow and tested it step by step.
✅ For a selected file → Compose → Works
✅ For a selected file → Get file properties → Start and wait for an approval → Works
❌ As soon as I add any Word Online (Business) action (e.g., Convert Word Document to PDF or Create Microsoft Word Document), SharePoint immediately displays the Premium license message before execution.
Additional information:
No DLP policies are configured.
All connections are valid.
The flow owner can execute the flow successfully.
Other users cannot even open the flow form.
This behavior started without any intentional changes to the flow.
Has anyone experienced this recently?
Is Word Online (Business) now considered Premium in this scenario?
Has there been any licensing or platform change related to the "For a selected file" trigger?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
