What is the difference in functionality between these two actions? Is there a separate set of permissions required? Is there an advantage to using one above the other?

So when you are using the "Send an Email V2" and you enter the Send As email this means you can send the email as Distribution Group or Send on Behalf of a Distribution Group and the email will still be saved in your account's sent item.
Send an Email from a Shared Mailbox means that the mailbox needs to exist and the email will be saved in the shared mailbox sent item.
So if i don't have an DL specific mailbox i will use the first action other wise i can use the shared mailbox action.
