"The bot is not part of the conversation roster." in private channel

I'm trying to post an adaptive card to a private channel without any luck. I receive the following:

The request failed. Error code: 'BotRequestFailed'. Error Message: 'Request to the Bot framework failed with error: '{"error":{"code":"BotNotInConversationRoster","message":"The bot is not part of the conversation roster."}}'.'.

Why would access NOT be built into the private channel of which I am an owner?? Is there a work around for this?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello @ShadowTech

There was an earlier thread about the same issue, just with approvals, and it was pointed to the User Voice!

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/Teams-Approval-into-private-channel/td-p/407449

The entry seems to not to have moved forward, but take a look.

    Kind regards, John

I made a similar post in one of the other Community forums but we managed to get around the message going to a private team channel by using the send email functionality in outlook integration.

A workaround we found was to use the private channel's email (if enabled for your team to send and email to the channel) I haven't tried sending adaptive cards but this gets around the lack of message functionality for our team.

I like this approach and I was going to use it but faced an issue, how to add dynamic content in the email itself to show properly in teams?

trying to add a link to a SharePoint Item is not looking good with me. I tried both html and teams messages format but both didn't work.

    Hello community

I'm new in Power automate/flow automation. I have 2 identical flows, each connected to a different Team's private channel in two different Teams. I am an owner in both teams. Each flows calls the same HTTP POST and both return the correct response from the HTPP call. Flow 1 successfully completes the "reply with a message in channel" using the "Flow bot" post-as option, while flow 2 fails returning the error message:

Request to the Bot framework failed with error: '{"error":{"code":"BotNotInConversationRoster","message":"The bot is not part of the conversation roster."}}'.

Both, Flow 1 and 2 succeed if I use the post-as "User" option, which I don't like because it always impersonates my own user.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you!

Private Channels are not supported according to MS:
