Cannot Download Attachments from Sharepoint List

I am currently experiencing an issue where I cannot download attachments that are submitted in a SharePoint list. The workflow runs successfully as far as triggering, creating the new folders, and creating the new file in the folders - however, the file is a blank file with no extension. If anyone has any feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

For context, my test uploads have been PDF extensions, as this is the most likely the file type we will use. Thank you.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

I think your flow will be similar to the extracts below, but see: How to read SharePoint List item attachments and send them via email using Power Automate for explanations:

Hi @ekarim2020 - Thanks for your response. I amended the 'apply to each stage' to use 'body' instead of 'value' and I am now getting an error on that stage:

The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@body('Get_items')' is of type 'Object'. The result must be a valid array.

I think the first two actions need to be as per my pervious post

    1. When an Item is created

    2. Get Attachments (not Get items)

Please share the details of the flow actions

Hi @ekarim2020 - After re-reviewing your response and implementing your proposed changes, I believe I have found where the issue is coming from:

All of your proposed changes are working as expected, as shown below:

    Screenshot 2022-10-14 145921.jpg

The inputs are successfully found, the file ID is successfully retrieved, and the attachments are successfully identified.

The error I am experiencing seems to be happening at the adjacent stage where the file is being created:

    Screenshot 2022-10-14 150046.jpg

    Screenshot 2022-10-14 145941.jpg

Based on the raw inputs being received from the previous stages (first picture) - the JSON correctly shows the file type and the file content, however, when the file is being created without any of that information (second picture). The created file is inheriting the file name in SharePoint that was created in our initial step rather than the attachment that was uploaded in that same stage. Are you aware of any way to resolve this?

Please check the Create File action.

For the Filename, please check that you have selected DisplayName from the Get Attachments dynamic content:

@ekarim2020- Thank you for your feedback. I have implemented the requested changes, and I am now receiving the previous error message from before stating: "The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@body('Get_items')' is of type 'Object'. The result must be a valid array."
