SharePoint approve/reject page

Hi all,

I want to create a SharePoint Page who shows the list of all PA Tasks of a user and also offer the possibility to approve/reject directly.

In other words, I want to hide from users that I am using Power Automate..

Is it possible? How can i reproduce the direct link to approve/reject?

Thanks a lot!

Ag

    Hi @Anonymous

Don't think so, sorry. The Approval action doesn't have a URL output, so there's no way to do this.

You need to proudly show everyone that you're using Power Automation to do the approval process :).

    Sorry for the bad news.

    Hi Manuel,

I know that Approval action doesn't have a URL output, but maybe i can reproduce/compose it via code..

Create a sharepoint list with relevant columns i.e. Approver, Requestor, Details of the item, Status etc i.e. Pending, Approved, Rejected.

Add to this list before the approval action is executed. After the approval item is completed, update the list item.

Then use something to render the list i.e. react content query webpart :).

    Hi Gristy,

Thank you for your reply..  I try to explain better my problem.. if an user lost the approvation mail, i want to provide him a page with all his task and give him the possibility to approve/reject within this page.. so i have to reproduce the 2 links (approve/reject)  for each task.. and I don't want the user to be redirected to PA..

    Cheers!

They have to approve from power automate, so you may as well just link to their my approvals.

    Hi @Anonymous

Yeah I understand but I'm not sure you can fetch the email.

@Gristy solution of linking to the approval page is a good idea. Just link it to:

The URL depends on your instance but it should be ok.

    Hi,

I don't want to fetch the email, i want to provide a simple page with same link to approve/reject..

My purpose is to mask PA, I don't want the user to create any flow..

    HI @Anonymous

Sorry but you're out of luck there :(.

There could be crazy workarounds but that's the main advantage of Power Automation. To remove the friction and make stuff faster.
