Able to configure Power Automate Desktop to be used offline?

Hi,

Is there a way to configure Power Automate Desktop to be used offline, that is without access to internet.

And is it a need to always supply a Microsoft email address in order to launch the Power Automate Desktop application, any work around?

Hi @Fanz ,

Without network bot cant run any flows, all data is stored in cloud itself.

Thanks @Ahammad_Riyaz , I'm also interested in this topic. May I ask - is this still the case for flows which only use applications already installed on the computer? For example, a really basic flow that opens Word, opens a template, and the auto populates the template with set text?

So far did not manage to get it running offline, MUST have internet connection in order for Power Automate Desktop to work.

Unless Microsoft do changes to the application to add in offline ones which I strongly think will be good for many.

You could try RoboCorp. They are a fairly new technology, just started March 2020, I believe. I used them for about 4 months, but I left because they did a lab update that rendered most of the bots I had built as useless, when they were previously running for months with no problems.

hey @FJHDev , aside from the recommendation of Robocorp below, i’m not aware of any (that’s what i’m trying to find out). I would like to think, however, that it’s on Microsoft’s backlog for the future.

You could also take a look at OpenRPA - an open source and free RPA engine, which should be able to run offline as well.
