Error - Failed to create new On Premises Data Gateway - ADGraphGroupOperationFailed

Hi there. I'm trying to set up a new On Premises Data Gateway and getting the following error: Failed to create gateway. Please try again. Response status code does not indicate success: 500 (Internal Server Error) Request Id: 1efbc8c5-b4ba-4799-8a83-5ab7018dc1ad Timestamp: 31/07/2020 06:43:57 +00:00 ErrorCode: ADGraphGroupOperationFailed at Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.ExternalClient.PowerBIDataMovementClientExtensions.d__0.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.ExternalClient.PowerBIDataMovementClientExtensions.d__2.MoveNext() This is on Windows Server 2019 with Data Gateway version 300.51.7.0 logged in as Admin and running as Admin.  I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling etc. and this has been failing over a number of days, running out of ideas now. Is anyone able to help / suggest a fix?

    Could you please show more details about your scenario?

    Does the On-premises Data Gateway not work on your side?

    Is your On-premises Data Gateway server down?

     

    Currently, I could not reproduce your issue on my side. Please consider upgrade your On-Premises Data Gateway to latest version, then configure your On-premises Data Gateway again, check if the issue is fixed.

     

    Regarding the issue that you mentioned, it seems that this issue is related to On-premises Data Gateway Server. Please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link for further help:
