Portal redirects user to wrong page after user registration with redeemed invitation code

Hi all,

When a user clicks on the email they received with the portal invitation code, the following portal web page appears:

User clicks on Register button and then fills in username and password:

When user clicks on Register button on this page, instead of being redirected to their Profile page, they are being redirected here:

This is really frustrating for new users, because they don't know how to navigate to the portal.

I need advice on how to fix this. I would much appreciate any help.

I should add that same thing happens with google sign-in/registration as well.

This one is very hard to diagnose with only pictures.

Can you try to create another site and see if you get the same behavior? If not, we can compare the settings and try to see what is affecting it.

Well, a site setting was completely missing from the portal: Authentication/Registration/ProfileRedirectEnabled
I created the site setting and enabled it.

So, the problem with the wrong redirection to the Invitation Code Page has been fixed, but now the user is always redirected to their profile, which is not what the customer needs. User should be redirected to the home page. In case a user has a link to a specific form/page in the portal, they should be redirected to that link after successful sign-in, not their profile. This is confusing...
