Flow for Outlook shared mailbox - Change Subject if condition

Hi !

I have been trying to create the following automation :

Whenever there is an incoming email on my company shared mailbox , I want to check if someone of the users with access in the shared mailbox has replied to that email . If they have replied then the subject of the original email should change and have appended the  "[replied] " tag to the beginning of it. This way we will be able to monitor who has responded to each email without confusing or missing on responses to requests. I tried building a flow but I cannot find a way to find a way to create a condition "If replied" . I am asking as I was instructed by Microsoft support that this can be achieved via Power Automate

can someone help or tell me if its possible ?

    Hi @gvlgr ,

    In fact, every reply email will have the field 'Re:' before the subject.

    You only need to check whether the subject of the received email contains the field 'Re'.

    @contains(triggerOutputs()?['body/subject'], 'Re:')

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

    you can use this flow: https://ivasoft.com/ifrepliedflow.shtml as a base and modify it according your needs.

    Hi sunshine,

    Thank you for your recommendation ! Will this work even if the reply originates from a user that sees the shared mailbox? I mean currently the shared mailbox is accessed by individual users that may press the REPLY and not Reply to all , hence the initial shared mailbox will not be part of the response and therefore not showing the RE: tag , only the recipient will see the RE: correct?

    Hi Victor , how can i make the flow work on a shared mailbox without a license?
    I saw it works in a user mailbox but i cannot figure out the shared mailbox how it would work
