TextSearchbox formula not working

Hello

 

I am creating a canvas app against a Google Sheet. All is well and I used a template provided which I believe was List.

I want to utlize the search property but for the life of me, I can't get it to work. I see lots of examples but they all seem to slightly differ. The formula always fails. I'm assuming this search feature will bring back results that match whatever you start typing.

Search('Central Alberta',SearchText.Text,"Name")

 

The Sheet = 'Central Alberta'

The field Name = 'Name'

 

What am I missing?

    I figured it out. I was putting the search on the OnSelect property of the search box. You put it on the Gallery and then you reference the searchbox.

     

    Hopefully this can help someone in the future:

     

    Search('Central Alberta',TextSearchBox1.Text,"Name")
