Power Automate Desktop .NET script prevented from running by FIPS - but only recently?

Hi everyone,

I have a short .NET script in a PowerAutomate Desktop automation that runs to convert columns in a data table to a date/time type.

It worked fine during testing and use a few months back but come to use it now and the automation fails to run because of this .NET script

It goes on to give the error message regarding FIPS algorithms which is definitely not something I set up and am definitely not part of the US federal government and would have no use for such a thing.

What can I do?

I have the same question (0)

What i understood is that FIPS occurs when certain classes in script are used, but i did not see that in your case, however i came to know that when running via power automate- it may load those libraries which may cause this error.

So options would be either to disable the FIPS or running the script in environemnt where more specific control is there.

    Thanks & Regards,
