Power Pages Integration with Power BI

Hello,

I would like to build a Power Pages site and integrate a Power BI dashboard that I have created. Is it possible to include the features below in the Power Pages site?

1. Create a login for each user so they can view the dashboard

2. Allow users to upload their own data so they can view and analyze their results within the dashboard (note: the data will already be in the correct format such that the dashboard will be able to reflect the data properly)

3. Show users dashboard results based on their own data

Is this possible in Power Pages or is there a better way to accomplish this?

I do not want to distribute the .pbix file to other users as they can modify the structure of the dashboard and treat it as their own. I want to be able to package this as a product so other users can use the dashboard with their own data, but they cannot modify the overall structure of the dashboard.

Please let me know if this is possible! If so, I'd like to know the next steps I should take to bring this idea to life!

Edgar

    Hi @egarnys

    1. Create a login for each user so they can view the dashboard Ans: Yes, Possible. Create web roles and assign contact to appropriate web roles.

    2. Allow users to upload their own data so they can view and analyze their results within the dashboard (note: the data will already be in the correct format such that the dashboard will be able to reflect the data properly). Ans: There are various different ways to achieve this. Assuming users are going to upload the excel file format. If that is the case, you can create "Plugins", Power Automate Flow, Workflow or Dataflow.  You can also try the new Power Automate integration cloud flow in PowerPages.

Remember: Thinking out loud, it will also consume dataverse capacity and a Power BI license. I believe you have evaluated the risks on this subject.

    3. Show users dashboard results based on their own data. Ans: Yes. related to Answer 2

    Hope it helps.

Thanks for your response. Yes, the file will be in Excel format. Will .csv format work also? When you say that a Power BI license is needed, do you mean for each user or just me? Thanks!

Also, just to confirm - this can al be done in Power Pages, correct?
