Dynamic content disappearing

Hello,

I am having trouble with Send an Email V3.

In my form, I have a question with a drop down that the user can select from a range of numbers (2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc...)

When I select this question from the dynamic content options to make up the body of my email, it disappears. All the other dynamic content I have selected stays, but this one disappears every time I save the flow. I've tested it and when the email comes through, sure enough that field is blank (see below).

On advice from another thread I've tried adjusting Experimental features in Power Automate settings. bit neither on or off resolves the problem.

Please help, I'm wracking my brain.

I've been seeing more people with issues since the updates and Co-Pilot became the default view. (I would talk about Co-Pilot, but if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.)

You could try putting a Compose action before the Send Email. Put everything in your Compose like it was the body of the email. Then put the output of the Compose into the body of the email.

Thanks so much for your reply!

I'm pretty new to power automate and haven't used compose.

When I type it into the action wizard it doesn't come up with anything called compose.

Think of Compose as a text box or holding bucket.

You can put pretty much anything into a Compose. The action Compose itself doesn't do anything. It will complete expressions or something if that is what you put into the field, but it doesn't really perform an action.

The same thing started happening to me just after the latest updates.

Dynamic content from an MS Form disappears from the Create Work Item action when saved. I tried creating the content in a variable first, and it did not disappear from the variable action, but when added to the Create Work Item, the data did not make it into the Work Item. Curiously, the Parse JSON content did not disappear, only the MS Form content.

I see this has happened in prior years but none of the prior solutions have worked for me. I have experimental features turned off, I created a new action from scratch, I tried copy pasting from the action into notepad, I even created a new copy of the flow.

Next, I will try recreating the MS Form, but hoping for a more straightforward solution or bug fix.

    After Save:

    Thanks!

Update to my post above...I created a new MS Form and went through all of my flow actions, deleted and re-added the dynamic content, and the issue resolved itself. I can now save and the dynamic content in the Create Work Item action and nothing disappears.

Thanks for posting your workarounds, folks. I'm experiencing this bug in the New Designer as well, currently getting by using the Classic View instead. Hoping that Microsoft will deploy a fix down the road!

I have also reverted to classic view. Hopefully this option doesn't disappear
