PowerApp Form-Lookup Column Network Error using Patch Function is read-only can't be modified

Hi everyone,

I have built a Document Library called RTWA which includes Lookup columns called Number, Member, Name.  I have created a PowerApp Form which includes the same fields (Number, Member, Name).  I connected a List called RTWC, with columns of the same names (Number, Member, and Name).  In the PowerApp Form, the plan is for staff to enter a specific number into the Number field, which is a Lookup to the Number column in the RTWC List and if that entry exists, it can be selected to populate the Form.  This part works great.  The issue is the Member and Name fields in the Form do not auto-populate based off of the RTWC List item corresponding to the Number.  Selecting Save produces this error message:  "Network error when using Patch function: Column 'Number_x003a__x0020_Member' is read-only and can't be modified." I have ensured my Form fields are Edit, and permissions are correct in both library and list.  I have researched this error and found great info, however, I haven't been successful in resolving the issue.  Any assistance is truly appreciated!

    Hi everyone and FLMike,

I have attempted several times to reply to this post and FLMike's request items, however, I cannot post a reply with screenshots as I keep receiving an error message stating I do not have access.  I am going to submit a new post following FLMike's guidelines and hope that it will be successful.

Thank you for your patience as I navigate this forum.

    Hi

Little feedback, its very hard to just "read" about your issue. You have a huge paragraph, but no code, no pictures, no nothing.

It honestly isn't fair to expect us to answer it without really, you know, sharing :-)

here is what I would like you to do please.

    1. Share a Picture of the SharePoint List Columns (under settings)
    2. Then click on the field Number_x bla bla and share a picture where it says the column is NOT read only
    3. Please Share your Form, the Form Source, the Form Item and the patch Code.

We see only what you share, if you share like this no one is going to answer you.

    Part II

    1. Close App
    2. Open Apps from the Power Apps Home page
    3. In the list find your app name
    4. Select the ... at the end
    5. Select Details => Monitor
    6. Once Monitor Loads, click Play Published App
    7. Go to that App Tab
    8. Cause the Error
    9. Go to the Monitor
    10. Type Error in the Filter (top right)
    11. You will need to find the group of errors (its usually NOT just a single one, but like 2-4 lines of errors, where 2/3 of them are useless
and one of them, when clicked, opens the Right side fly out window, with 4 Tabs
    12. Select the Response Tab (#4)
    13. Expand Header and Body

It will show you there, the actual real issue, regardless of that lame error above. Come back if you need help but this should tell you
    what to fix.

Also, please for the love of our eye balls, use a carriage return :-)
