I have the following failure message:

Error saving the flow. Code: InvalidTemplate, Meldung: "The template validation failed: 'The inputs of template action 'Send_an_email_notification_(V3)_2' at line '1 and column '3455' is invalid. Action 'Apply_to_each' must be a parent 'foreach' scope of action 'Send_an_email_notification_(V3)_2' to be referenced by 'repeatItems' or 'items' functions.'.".

I have copy-pasted the flow of a colleague and changed it to my Lists file, but somehow it's not working for me. Can you help?

Hi @VanessaDriver

Your problem is with the second Apply to each (named Auf alleanwenden) nested within Apply to each.
The object Current item traversed by Auf alleanwenden caused an error.
Apply to each traverses the array instead of the object. You can try to delete Auf alleanwenden and put the action of sending mail in the first Apply to each.

Thank you for your comment. I just changed it accordingly but still have an error - different one though.

Code: InvalidTemplate, Meldung: "The template validation failed: 'The repetition action(s) 'Apply_to_each' referenced by 'inputs' in action 'E-Mail-Benachrichtigung_senden_(V3)' are not defined in the template.'.".

What type of column is Responsible (text column, single-select person column, multi-select person column)?
The filter query in Get items -7 days is incorrectly written, please put the dynamic content in single quotation marks.

It's a multi-select person column.

Oh haven't seen the typo - corrected it. Thanks! Still receive the same error though. 😞

Hi Levi
Unfortunately, I couldn't recreate the flow (not a PA user yet...). Today I have copied the shared flow again and got the following error:
Code: Invalid Teamplte "The template validation failed: 'The inputs of template action 'Send_an_email_notification_(V3)_2' at line '1 and column '3534' is invalid. Action 'Auf_alle_anwenden' must be a parent 'foreach' scope of action 'Send_an_email_notification_(V3)_2' to be referenced by 'repeatItems' or 'items' functions.'.".

I guess without having someone creating the flow for me, I won't be able to solve the issue. 😅
