Hello everyone,
I'm new to creating PowerAutomate and can't figure out how to create a from for the mentioned subject. My example: I have a department that has 30 users, 3 managers, and 1 director. each manager has 10 direct reports. All users, managers, and directors are under one Teams groups.
We are looking to use Microsoft Shifts for mainly time off requests. I want to see how I can configure the MS Shift flows to send a time off notification by group to a specific manager and include the director. For example a user from group A submits a time off request, an email notification goes out to Manager 1 and director, Manager 1 approves and a confirmation email goes out to user from group A and director. The same idea would apply to group B and C.
Group A / Manager 1 / Director
Group B / Manager 2 / Director
Group C / Manager 3 / Director
Also on the day off the time off request being submitted can a notification be sent to the manager to remind them that they approved X user on X day?
I hope this makes sense and I appreciate any guidance the community can provide.
Hi @RvelezMedline18 ,
Group member should be managed in hierarchy as per your subject in Teams. Then by default if any Group members
requested for Time off , it will automatically notifiy the respective manager
