Excel Formatting for Budget Tracking Template

Can someone provide an easy flowing tutorial on how to format excel as a data source for the Budget Tracking Template?  I I am a small business owner that is trying to create an app that can replace a quickbooks app; if it is even possible.

 

Please advise and thanks in advance!

    Hi WMCAPSLLC,

     

    When we create an app from template, we will be asked to choose a cloud-storage account to save the Excel file. Say you are using Dropbox, the sample Excel data will be copied to your Dropbox account, and you could check the data at there. So you don’t have to format an Excel file as the data source for a template app.

     

    You could also remove the sample data and use your own data, please see this blog about “Create an app from PowerApps templates” for more details:
