Pass parameters to flow

Hi, I'm new to flow. I want to start a flow on the item a user selected in  a sharepoint list. I see we have the 'on selected item' trigger, which is great, but what if I need to capture additional data from the person starting the flow to be passed into the flow (like a due date or something). How would I do that?

Is your SharePoint list customized in PowerApps and if not could it be?  The reason I ask is if you can customize it in PowerApps then you could utilize the "Manually Trigger a Flow" Trigger which does allow you to define input parameters to gather more information from the user.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to capture additional inputs that will be populated by the invoker of the Flow using the "For a select item" trigger of SharePoint connector?

If you want to capture additional inputs that will be populated by the invoker of the Flow using the "For a selected item" trigger, please check the following article:

I have made a test on my side and the screenshot of my flow as below:5.JPG

    Best regards,

    Kris

I have a scenario where a template is defined. And when user lands on the template from my app, I need to send some information so as to prefil some fields of the template.

    Is that possible?

Hi, i want to send an email containing a document name.

The actual document must then be attached to the email from it's SharePoint location.
